2012 Black Friday and Cyber Monday gun deals

I did this last year and frankly it got us a lot of hits so I’m going to try again this year.

Cabela’s online flyer, including a $280 Ruger 10/22 Takedown.

Bass pro’s online flyer, including a $150 H&R Pardner Protector. Though as one internet warrior points out, the rest of their gun prices are shitty.

Sportsman’s Warehouse, and a $230 Remington 870.

DSG Arms is running a good deal on Magpul Pmags.

Sportsman’s Guide isn’t having anything special, aside from a $10 off coupon with the coupon code SG1277.

Brownells is doing some decent sales that they are cleverly calling “Black Rifle Friday“, along with a 12 Days of Christmas sale that starts on Dec. 3rd. One of their deals includes YHM Free Float handguards for $90.

Grabagun.com is advertising that they will be having a sale, but they are tight lipped on what the deals will be.

Sports Authority is having a few deals, like a $280 Savage Axis rifle.

Midway is doing its “8 Days of Deals” starting today the 19th through the 26th. Deals include exploding targets and a Lyman case tumbler for $41.

Woodbury’s Outfitters is having a shitload of gun sales, including $100 off all AR’s.

JSE Surplus does a great job with their Thanksgiving day sales. Check them out before all the good stuff gets sold.

Dick’s Sporting Goods is running a 20% and free shipping promotion TODAY ONLY and only online. But it almost looks like they jacked up their prices for the sale.

Dunhams Sports is running some good deals, but linking to them is tricky. You’re better off navigating to it yourself from their main page. They are selling the GSG-5 for $270 though, which is $100 less than anyone else and way below what they were selling for a couple years ago. They are also selling Cannon gun safes for good prices. In fact if you are lucky enough to live near a Dunhams, this really looks like the best place to be on Black Friday.

And finally, Centerfiresystems.com has started their 12 Deals of Christmas sale. Check back daily until December 10th.

Fuck KGB Armory

In case you have ever had occasion to deal with these assholes, or planned to, you should know that they have been less than stellar with their business practices and are now filing for bankruptcy.

A lot of people are out a lot of money and a lot of guns and gun parts. A chronicling of the last several weeks with this company can be found HERE and HERE.

He owes me $515 dollars or a custom M4. I shipped the money order on April 20th. He owes a very good friend of mine $615 or a custom M4. That money was sent in early May.

He has been telling me for weeks that he was going to ship it. Just some of the excuses= There was a part missing. Then Eric blew his hand off. Then he had to clean up. Then he got audited by the ATF and couldnt work on it. Then he had an Angina attack. Then he had to refinish it because it “didnt turn out right”. Then he got audited by the ATF again and they made him “Re-strike every single serial number on his lowers because they were 1/1000th of an inch too shallow”. Then he called me just this last friday telling me not to worry, everything was good to go and he would send pics of the completed rifle on tuesday and ship by thursday. Then Monday…doors close.

And anyone responsible for something like these needs to have their nose bloodied.

Dear god, it’s…it’s….IT’S HIDEOUS. What monster did this to you?

I was surfing the Brady Campaign’s site after I got an email from them asking for money.

I clicked on the Million Mom March link at the bottom of the page, wondering how that campaign was going. Oh look, I can join a local chapter, and here is a link to their newsletter page.

Huh, not updated for almost 15 months. And before that, updated only once in 2 years. Wow.

So I got curious and looked at all the states. Some states are very active like California and New York, naturally. Some states have no activity at all, such as Idaho, Hawaii, Montana, Nevada, Utah, Wyoming, North Dakota, South Dakota, Alaska, Nebraska – pause for breath – Kansas, Oklahoma, Iowa, Missouri, Arkansas, Louisiana, Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama, South Carolina, Indiana, Vermont, Maine, Rhode Island and West Virgina. The link to New Hampshire is broken. So is the momentum of the Brady campaign.

I am currently emailing as many chapters as I have time for to see if I can get any response from the chapter “Presidents”. I’ll keep you updated.

How to be an anti-gun blogger

I saw the “So you want to be a gun blogger” series over here today. Inspiring. It’s cool to hear an established gun blogger not be a condescending douchebag. I know I know, I shouldn’t be devisive and harsh like that towards other gun blogs, but I just can’t help it. Hate me. Honeybadger don’t give a shit.

Anyways, Gun Nuts Media’s little series inspired me and I thought maybe I could help out the other half of the equation, those who maybe feel like it’s hard to get a following and maintain one, avoid infinite scorn and ridicule, pull their panties from out of their tight little assholes. I’m of course talking about anti-gun blogs.

I know they need help just because they are so goddamn hard to find. Google “anti-gun blog” and it quickly becomes obvious that there must be some pretty significant hurdles to overcome. Otherwise they might actually show up your search results.

So without further nonsense, I will now charitably dispense helpful information to this tiny corner of the internet. Forgive the intense complexity of the instructions, the anti gun crowd is a special breed of intelligence and must be spoken to at their level.

1 – Lie
2 – Cheat
3 – Eat dick (figuratively of course)
4 – Ignore unjustified police shootings and law enforcement scandals involving guns
5 – Dance in the spilt blood of dead negroes and college students
6 – Cry on twitter all fucking day to an audience who relentlessly mocks you
7 – Eat dick (literally)
8 – Type IN ALL CAPS with pooor speling and GRAMMER!
9 – Censor all comments that disagree with your point of view
10 – Fade into irrelevancy
