Post Colorado Residents, Educate Me on Your CCW Laws
I was reading an article about a guy who was arrested for open carrying in a theater in Colorado the other day. In the article it said something about the license being statewide but not countywide. So, basically, certain counties can ban concealed carry and open carry in your state?

only denver county can legally ban it. other counties have passed ordinances against it, but they are not legal. it doesn't stop them from trying.

but that dude was booked on suspicion of possession of a dangerous weapon, or some bullshit like that. it's not even a real charge. he'll beat it in court, it's almost guaranteed.

yeah, and its for OC only. CC is legal in every county, even denver.

yeah, and its for OC only. CC is legal in every county, even denver.


That's not bad. I was thinking that it was illegal to CC in Denver County too.

people can raise a fuss and call the cops if you OC in colorado if they "feel" threatened by you and your gun... even if you dont do anything threatening
