 S&W M&P .22
This is basically the epitome of the .22 pistols that actually look like real guns instead of blasters. After trying numerous .22 pistols, I think I will actually stick with this one. It's a S&W, which means the trigger leaves some to be desired, but I can probably work that out. The rest of the pistol feels just like a full size M&P 9. I'm not a huge fan of the safety, so I may reprofile that to make it a bit less prominent and sharp. Other than that though, I absolutely love it! It fits excellently in the hand, and is large enough for me to be able to shoot it comfortably and without it feeling awkward. The sights are pretty good, though I think I will swap the rear one out for something with dots instead of the solid black. My favorite part is that it doesn't have a stupid external hammer. I hate external hammers. The lack of external hammer also means zero gassing while suppressed, and I don't ever shoot .22 handguns without a suppressor, so that's very important to me. I'll take it out and spend some range time with it this week if at all possible, so I'll have some video and probably a review soon Anyway, on to the pr0nz! I have no idea what that square section to the left in the case is actually for. I noticed that there was a foam block that looked removable, so I pulled it out and it was just empty space. Just happens that it's the exact length of my Spectre, so that works out nice! Mags are still kinda hard to find right now, but I'm going to try and pick up at least 4 spares as funds permit.

 Re: S&W M&P .22
you could probably get one without a lot of money down if you traded your P22 towards it. Dunno if you wanna do that or not, but there's that. I'm glad I swapped that ISSC out, this is definitely a better gun.

My P22 works too well to let it go. But I'll keep an eye out for a smoking deal on a A&W though.

 Re: S&W M&P .22
I hear that. Keep in mind that this one is made at the same plant. Since S&W and Walther are basically making teh secks all the time, their guns are a weird combination of both. My M&P .22 has Walther logos and S&W logos on it. The 2 companies apparently can't decide which one is the man in the relationship, so they are doing the hyphenated name thing... or some corporate equivalent of it. Best I can tell it's actually made by Walther, then sold to S&W to rebrand and resell.
It says Carl Walther ULM Made in Germany on the side of it anyway.
