Re: New pistol :( Glock 19 Gen 4 Like I said, I'm not specifically defending them. I'm just saying, look at the facts. Not anecdotal stories. Personally, I don't even use the p**** a** factory loads. Not when I can handload a hornaday 158 grain XTP at 1600 fps with nosler 180gr JST loaded to 1400 for assurances and use an M1 Garand for home defense. That's personal preference. In my opinion the 5.56 is one step above a bb gun.

Re: New pistol :( Glock 19 Gen 4 You're correct, and in this instance your numbers don't mean s*** either they are a little out of context to fit the agenda you were trying to push, as I pointed out earlier (magnum vs overpressured +p). At the end of the day, I'm a shooter what matters to me is results and I've seen enough with my own eyes to know that 9mm isn't for me. The interwebs is full of armchair numbers junkies that try hard to validate themselves. Doesn't work for me, I've spent enough time on the ground to know what works and what doesn't and I've seen firsthand the wounds caused by nearly the whole spectrum of small arms. You like .357, that's great for you. Knock yourself out. This is a thread about Levi's "wittle" 9mm which he owns only out of necessity.

Re: New pistol :( Glock 19 Gen 4 also cool from a 240 that is suppressing fire and you got to bound a click to the objective...kinda a moral boost..esp when you got a dumb a** 1st sausage and you have to do it over and over (in training) in real life you ignore the tracers you got bigger s*** on your plate to worry about ...esp when you got to clear house to house in one village

) seek cover behind the vics as the gunners suppress the position with the 240 ...the c*** sucker took cover and returned fire with his Mosin Nagant hitting all around (his lack of accuracy) and our 5.56 falling short due to the range he was at finally as he bound much much closer he was hit several times by 5.56 and finally fell down the hill ...btw the c*** sucker still breathes and probly is back at shooting at soldiers ......and as far as 9mm ive seen two junkies in real life take multiple hits with 9mm and still go after a person (a good friend was one and i didnt know the other jack a**) ...yes its all about shot placement tho knock down power is also a big factor not many men can stand up to the power of a 45 ACP its usually a show stopper ...so keep backing these rounds and when you actually use it (esp)5.56 then im all ears
