It was an interesting day, to say the least. I didn't get the pics or video I wanted, but others did. It should be up by next Christmas....

I'll say this, if every GFE shoot goes like this one did, we'll all be lucky to be alive in 5 years.

It kicked off with an ND with an AR-15 with a coworker of mine putting several .22 caliber holes in this car. Green tip 5.56 no less. We lost track of the path of the bullet after it disappeared under the driver seat. but we did manage to track it through the back seat. poor bastard was pretty embarrassed, as he should have been. I sprayed him with a fire extenquisher to punish his negligence.

When we were trying to get some tannerite to explode our host got some scope bite, and put a 3/4 inch gash in his eyebrow. he should have gone for stitches, but he apparently would rather just continue to bleed, which he did.

after putting Bentley's slide fire to good use, sending hundreds of rounds of .223 downrange and detonating 2 pounds of tannerite, the neighbors finally had enough and came to complain, with a fair amount of hostility. They said they were getting calls from neighbors on the other side of the interstate and that one explosion "shook their house". I can't tell you how proud that made me. We packed up our s*** and while we were doing so, the Sherrif showed up to check on us. After concluding that nothing illegal was going on, *cough*besides maybe some double taps coming from Caza*cough*, they left and we bar-b-qued up some hot dogs and hamburgers.

I want to thank Bentley and Aussierogue for making the trip out. And hopefully for not judging me too much on the company I keep.

While our host was very generous to allow us all out to come shoot out there, I gotta say there is no way I am going to shoot with him again. that dude is just too unsafe and he pointed a loaded gun at me more times than I can remember, including the AR that had just ND'ed.

OK just a quick one The misses and I arrived home safe. I do have some video I'll look at it and see if it's any good one of the friend that came with me has some footage of the tennerite going off he will be sendong it to me and I'll post it when I get it. Again thanks to everyone that was there

The ND guy learned a lesson the hard way. Luckily no one was hurt by it. But I continued to watch him make more mistakes through out the morning.

Our "generous host" is a crazy mother f***er and was about one 'nam flashback away from lighting us all up.

Next time we will imlplement Caza's idea of an actual physical firing line. And anyone that doesnt follow 4 laws of gun safety, gets guns confiscated, tarred and feathered.
