BIG PINE KEY, Fla. – Authorities in the Florida Keys are investigating after guns and SWAT gear were stolen from a Monroe County deputy’s patrol car.

The cruiser belonged to a sergeant who lives in Big Pine Key. His personal handgun, an automatic rifle and a pistol were stolen from inside the car and from the trunk. Detectives and investigators don’t know how the suspects got inside the car.
