A friend of GFE, 47mason47 has recently completed his first NFA weapon, a short barrel Maverick 88 shotgun. He has documented his process here.

He faithfully fulfilled his civic duty by posting some videos of this fucking awesome weapon in action. Enjoy!

Thanks for the shoutout 47mason47! Congrats on the first of many NFA weapons.

I present to you, FPS RUSSIA

Could it possibly get any better than this?

What the fuck people?

Democratic Rep. Carolyn McCarthy of New York and Democratic Sen. Frank Lautenberg of New Jersey introduced a bill in the wake of the tragedy to ban high-capacity clips. Such clips allow for 33 shots without reloading instead of about 10 in a normal clip [emphasis added, faggotry understated].

“Assault clips – they make everyone a target,” the narrator says. “Tell President Obama to ban assault clips.”

Assault Clips? Seriously……what the fuck?

A perfect example of people who don’t know the facts trying to make new policy, or in other words, a routine SNAFU.

Jesus Christ loves them, you should too!

The recent massacre in Brazil has given the government the excuse it needs to pick up the pace on rounding up legally owned weapons from the public. Now I’m not going to go on some psychotic rant about how this kind of thing is just waiting to happen here in the US. I do want to take the time to remind people how fortunate they are to have been born in a place that has a cultural tradition of gun ownership. We are lucky to be in a country that respects this right (for the most part) and we should take the time to appreciate that by taking a trip down to the Local Gun Store and buying an assault rifle!

BRASILIA, BRAZIL (BNO NEWS) — The Brazilian Senate on Wednesday began discussions over a proposed referendum on the sale of weapons and ammunition following the deadly shooting at a Rio de Janeiro school.

According to the state-run Agencia Brasil, the proposed legislation intends to ban the sale of firearms and ammunition in Brazil. A public referendum was also proposed in order to consult the population over a possible ban on the sale of weapons.

The bill was passed by the Committee on Constitution and Justice (CCJ) of the House and will put into vote in plenary. The legislation still be passed on the House of Representatives.

The legislation was promoted by Senate President Jose Sarney. In 2005, there was a similar referendum in the South American country but voting favored the continuity of firearms sales.

Some lawmakers called for an extensive debate before reaching any decision which could be based on emotion stemming from the school massacre. Senator Sandro Mabel proposed instead installing metal detectors in schools.

On Tuesday, Congressman Duarte Nogueira presented a project of law that proposes the implementation of chips in firearms that would carry information about the manufacturer and owner.

Last Thursday, a 23-year-old man opened fired at a school in the western Realengo area of Rio de Janeiro. Wellington Menezes de Oliveira, a former student of the school, shot without notice over 28 people, 12 fatally, before killing himself.

Across the country, lawmakers are debating whether universities should let students and faculty with permits carry their concealed weapon on campus. Those who want to put an end to such gun-free zones have found an unlikely hero in a petite, soft spoken, young woman who wonders why colleges protect most Constitutional rights, but not the one that matters most when staring into the face of a violent criminal.

Amanda Collins, 25, is a wife and new mom, and a concealed weapon permit holder for years. At her father’s law office in Reno, she showed us the 9-mm Glock she carries for her safety.

“It’s got a pretty standard magazine,” she said, “and night sights so you can see in the dark when you’re aiming.”

FUCK YOU! not so OK state

A measure that would have allowed residents with concealed handgun permits to carry their weapons in the open failed to pass Wednesday out of a House committee.

The defeat is a blow to advocates of the open carrying of handguns.

Rep. Leslie Osborn, R-Tuttle, House author of Senate Bill 129, said she was surprised the House Public Safety Committee voted 9-8 against the measure.

“I totally expected that bill to pass,” she said. “I don’t think there’s anything else I can do this year.”

SFGate – Gun rights activists, fearing a backlash, are pushing for broader rights, says Ladd Everitt, a spokesman with the Coalition to Stop Gun Violence, a Washington advocacy group.

“People see an incident like this and they think, ‘They’re going to take our guns. We better get every law we can,’ ” Everitt said.

The trend is alarming some companies and business groups, as policies designed to ensure safe workplaces clash with the Second Amendment – and increase employers’ potential liability. Forest products company Weyerhaeuser bans guns on company property and has fired workers for carrying hunting rifles in their cars. The company stands by its policy, which is at odds with six state laws giving employees the right to keep guns in vehicles.
