I’m not going to spoil the surprise, you’ll have to click the links to actually see the prices. But I will tell you, if you were looking to make a bulk purchase this spring, this just might be the deal you were waiting for. Quality ammo at Walmart prices.

And again, I want to thank Scott and AmmunitionDepot for sponsoring our monthly ammo giveaways. This month, all you got to do to enter is subscribe to our Youtube channel and you will have a chance to win a $20 gift certificate.

Nasty, isn't it?

I gotta say, I agree 100%. Not based on personal experience, just based on empirical evidence.

Don’t forget, we are giving away some FREE AMMO!

It’s overdone, but still pretty awesome. One of the few posts in this category that I could see myself using, if I had 600+ dollars to spend on accessories for a $350 gun.

Think that title will stir some shit up?
This is one of those contended issues. Like Coke v Pepsi, Chevy v Ford, everyone that has one, seems to have an opinion. I’ve got one, and I’m hoping you do to, and that your opinion is different because I want to prove ya wrong.

It seems a lot of the .45 fans will refer at least at some point to the concept of “stopping power”. But what does it look like when we actually examine the data? The king of the hill is the .357 magnum. It’s better than the .45acp. It has more one shot stops than the .45. In fact, the reason why police officers stopped carrying it was because of capacity, not effectiveness. So they went to the 9 initially, but that was shown to lack in the effective category, so they tried to design a round that was as effective as the .357, but had the capacity of the auto. Why didn’t they just go to the .45? Recoil, and it wasn’t as effective as the .357. Let’s over look the pansy complaint about recoil, focus on the effectiveness, and crunch some numbers here.

A self defense load for the .357 is one capable of pushing a 125 grain projectile at about 1400 fps.
A standard load for the 9mm only pushes the a 124 grain projectile at 1100 fps.

The diameter of the 9 is .355. The .357 is well, .357.
One grain and .002 diameter difference isn’t IMO going to change that much, so how do we speed that projectile up? By not using standard pressure ammo of course! By going to +p you rap that up to 1350 fps. Not enough? Use a gun that has polygonal rifling instead of traditional rifling like a Glock, or a HK and you will get that extra 50 fps and probably more.

So now you’ve got the .357, a proven man stopper, and the king of the hill as far as defensive sidearms are concerned, firing a 125 grain projectile at 1400 fps, and the much maligned 9mm that is thought by some to be incapable of stopping a BG unless he (or she, gotta be equal opportunity, I guess) they are suffering from a chronic wasting disease and should be best relegated to popping balloons at your local fairgrounds firing a 124 grain projectile at over 1400 fps? WTF?

Our friend 47_Mason_47 has increased the win factor of his Kel Tec Sub2000 by a factor of a billion.

I caught Juan A Be beating off to this video earlier, so he has been locked in a luchador cage with his hands glued to his ass until he can behave himself.

From the company that brought you the weapon of choice for fictional drug lords in the inner city since the 80′s:

Masterpiece Arms has introduced a new version of it’s 9mm pistol in a new and pretty fucking slick carbine. Boasting plenty of Picatinny rail space, including on top of the receiver where it is needed most, a very light weight cache of accessories and a 36 round magazine, this is going to be a lot of fun.

Here it is in action. Looks like the trigger is pretty easy to pull.

Sexy. I’ve been wanting a Mac11 since I saw young Piru’s doing drive by’s with it in the hood back in ’87. This is a great addition to the carbine market. I’m pretty excited about it, especially the super killer high capacity assault clips.

Now all they have to do is shorten that ridiculously long name, “MPA9300SST-XX”

Usually a manufacturer offers a great pistol, and then latter adds a .22 version of the same model. I guess Walther didn’t get the memo.

Capitalizing on it’s very successful P22, Walther is now offering the same platform in a 9mm and .40 S&W.

Specs:
Barrel Length: 4″
Dimensions L/H/W: 9mm – 7.2″/5.3″/1.3″
.40 S&W 7.2″/5.3″/1.3″
Mag Capacity: 9mm – 10/15 .40 S&W – 10/12

The PPQ boasts a new trigger system called the “Quick Defense Trigger”. It has an audible “click” at reset which is a short .1″ from the firing position.

Also the pistol comes with 3 sizes of grips, like all the new auto pistols are doing these days.

Looks cool too.
