Denver’s Day of Resistance

Saturday, February 23, 2013 – 11:00am until 1:00pm

To take a stand for our 2nd Amendment! It is not about hunting or home defense but a matter of national security! We must take a stand and let the Government know that we support and defend the Constitution of the United States

“A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”

What an exciting week for gun owners, so much so that I Juan-A-Be The Luchador had to take a break from building our NEW STORE WEBSITE, and write about it.

This post is intended for both anti and pro gun folks.

On Tuesday, February 14th 2012 a new chapter was to be written in the book of “America’s Second Revolution.” We managed to fuck that up. We’re not ready for a revolution, we don’t even know how to start one. We live in a country of Occupy Wall Street folks, you know the type that say Wall Street is greedy, but yet want all things only for their benefit.

Tuesday, although fun, was in my eyes a failure in many ways. Let’s start with GFE’s fuck ups, we can’t tell you what you did wrong without accepting our own wrongs.

The GFE Starbucks shit started in a very exciting manner, and it all went down hill from there. El Bombardero picked a location suitable only to his needs (he’s in a OWS stage in life), a location where no civilized human being can reach. I of course said yes – I was not about to organize an event at a more centralized location, a location people actually have access to, fuck no, not alone anyway. Then I sleep through our event (rumor has it, I was not the only one that slept through it)… I didn’t even show up to our event, but nobody did.

On that caffeine driven day, we received pictures of people with their guns at Starbucks. I have to hand it to these folks, they did what was supposed to be done, but despite their efforts no huge crowds. I will take a shot in the dark and say that the biggest gathering in the nation was 15 people. I seriously hope I’m wrong.

The opposition did worse from what I see and hear, and this was their doing. I haven’t been searching in depth, but I have not found a single picture of them protesting at a Starbucks.

So if this was a cyber war, pro-gunners win. We kick ass at cyber-revolutions, not so much at real ones. I know we tried our best, we try to juggle life, and coffee is not our priority. Bentley my friend, let’s remind these folks that this was not about coffee, it was about showing our love for freedom. Sucks that our passion for freedom has become 15th in our list.

Our best is no longer good enough. We can’t afford to go home and be satisfied with how we tried, trying gets us nowhere, only doing does. So it is my sad, pathetic opinion that we don’t deserve our freedoms, we don’t deserve anything, yet we deserve all that we have coming to us. Tuesday was proof that when the time comes, we will give up our guns, because fighting for them requires too much effort. So Obama will get re-elected and with nothing to lose anymore our guns will become a priority, and our dear president has nothing to fear, we can’t even show up to Starbucks in support of our guns.
